On Thursday, 21 August 2025, the promaFox team set off on this year's team outing – and it seems that rainy weather is slowly becoming a tradition. But as we all know, real adventures don't start in sunshine!
The trip kicked off with a train ride to Thun, where a French breakfast awaited us at the Heer roastery – delicious, enjoyable and the perfect start. We then immersed ourselves in the world of coffee during an exciting and informative coffee tasting session. Kira Heer presented with a wealth of expertise and passion – a real highlight for all coffee lovers.
We continued on to Spiez, where we reached the Hotel Eden without getting our feet wet. During lunch, we enjoyed a fantastic view of Lake Thun – and briefly some dry weather.
Then it was time to get active: after a short walk to the Thunersee sailing school, we kitted ourselves out with rain gear – a wise decision. Because no sooner had we boarded the sailing boat than the heavens opened again. Nevertheless (or perhaps because of this?), the two-hour trip on the deserted Lake Thun was an unforgettable experience. The rain accompanied us at the beginning and end – in between, there was room for teamwork, laughter and a real sailing feeling.
We ended the day with a cosy aperitif in the Schlosscafé – before a flood in Bern forced us to take a small detour on our way home. Tired, slightly wet, but satisfied, the promaFox team finally returned home.
It was a day full of impressions that showed us once again: with the right team, even rainy weather becomes a minor issue.
