The promaFox team met early in the morning on October 11 at the travel center in Windisch. To get even the morning grouches among us going, Michaela handed out freshly baked croissants to everyone. The effect was surprisingly quick and the mood brightened.
We then took the Eurobus towards Rust. After a lengthy stop at the border (the German customs officers checked the Flix bus in front of us very carefully!), we arrived at our destination - the Europapark - a little late. The anticipation of the upcoming rollercoaster rides was already palpable for some of us.
Depending on preference, we set off in different groups to enjoy the park's attractions. Some opted for a leisurely start and wanted to get a panoramic view in the Euro Tower first, while others had a somewhat faster start in mind and marched purposefully towards Iceland. Their destinations were “Wodan” and “Blue Fire”.
The morning flew by and at 12.00 noon the whole team met at Balthasar Castle for lunch. Experiences and photos were exchanged amidst much laughter. Afterwards, we met with Ms. Celik from F&B Europapark. She gave us interesting background information about the gastronomy at Europapark and patiently answered our questions. The organization and logistics of this small town require a lot of skill and know-how and we can only applaud the professionalism with which this is all carried out.
As soon as this exciting exchange came to an end, the sun came out again and nothing prevented the promaFox team from experiencing the remaining attractions, including the latest roller coaster “Voltron”. The afternoon passed far too quickly and after an enjoyable final aperitif, which helped to soothe sore stomachs, it was time to board the bus home.
Conclusion: the predicted feelings of happiness and stress relief from Thrill Therapy were achieved. We can highly recommend the therapy!
Thank you very much for a great day and we will enjoy reminiscing about it for a while.
