The Circle at Zurich Airport is a building of superlatives: 180,000 square metres of usable space with two hotels including a congress centre, a university hospital health centre, numerous offices, shops and restaurants, an education centre and an art hub as well as an 80,000 square metre park make up The Circle in Zurich.
Zurich Airport and Swiss Life invested around one billion Swiss francs in The Circle project in a prime location in Zurich. Work on what was at times the largest building construction site in Switzerland took five years. Now the overhanging glass façade hugs the access road and the buildings at the head of the airport in a large curve. Behind it is a right-angled network of alleyways and squares that connect the individual uses.
promaFox AG was involved in this fantastic project from the very beginning as a catering specialist planner and general catering planner. We were able to provide our expertise in a wide range of areas and for a wide variety of formats. The complex task challenged us not only in terms of strategic consulting, but also in terms of general catering planning and specialist catering planning. We are proud to have been part of this project of the century and are pleased to present ‘our’ projects to you.
