Success Story of promaFox AG: Your Expert in Gastronomy Planning

Founded in 1990 by Reto S. Fuchs, promaFox AG has established itself as a leading name in the world of gastronomy planning and general planning. With his visionary approach, Reto S. Fuchs recognized early on that serious and competent planning is crucial for making gastronomic businesses of all kinds more economically and ecologically efficient. This encouraged him to set up promaFox AG together with his wife Karin Fuchs.

Our Success Story

We quickly became the leading gastronomy planner in Switzerland. Our projects are diverse and international. A standout example is the project “The Dolder Grand” in Zurich – an impressive challenge! Equally demanding were our works for Credit Suisse (the largest employee restaurant in Switzerland), Migros, and the consulting mandate for FIFA. Besides large projects, we are also planning hotels, restaurants, ship kitchens, and smaller concepts like Moser’s Kafi in Brugg.

Memberships

Since 2000, we have been a member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International and a founding member of the Swiss Association VSGG (Verband Schweizer Gastro- und Grossküchenfachplaner today known as Verband Schweizer Gastroplaner/VSG)). We are also members of the Verband der Fachplaner, Germany.

Milestones in Our History

  • 2002: A significant year for promaFox AG. We started our adventure at Zurich Airport and were responsible for planning nine gastronomic establishments. The successful opening of The Circle in 2020 was a highlight that impressively demonstrated our competence. Additionally, we realized various innovative gastronomy formats during Expo 02, including the pioneering visitor restaurants for Migros.
  • 2003: Introduction of the business branch “Training and Concepts,” now known as “Services.” This bridges the gap between gastronomy planning and operational management.
  • 2004: Our first assignment as a general planner for Swisscom, another successful business area.
  • 2016: The change of ownership with Vinoo André Mehera brought fresh energy to our company. With his extensive experience in business transformation and management, he leads promaFox AG into the future with vision.
  • 2022: We are moving to our new premises in the duplex building in Baden. The proximity to the train station makes this domicile very attractive.

In recent years, we have accompanied many unique projects. We are particularly proud of our contributions to the market launch of “Pret” and the development of the first “Plug & Play” kitchens. We are also proud of our expertise in planning and realizing gastronomies in the “Care Gastronomy” sector.
